A Busy Weekend

On Saturday Nathanael and I spent the whole day together. We had a lot of fun, it was really nice to have a whole day together.

The first thing we did was get in the car and drive to Ogden. We had heard about a dinosaur park that has huge statues of dinosaurs and it's all outdoors, except for a museum with bones and fossils. Plus the museum had all these gems and one of them was a huge smoky quartz, I mean it was probably 200 carats! I wanted it, except it would have been way too heavy to wear! So after looking around the museum we went outside and walked along the paths, looking at all the dinos. The signs said "Please stay on the path, Do no touch the creatures" but it's the off season so no one was around...hee hee...so we have plenty of pictures of Nathanael riding a dino, me getting eaten by a dino...I will post pictures later.

The scariest thing that happened on Saturday happened on the freeway. We were just north of Draper when I saw a big cloud of dust all of a sudden right on the road about 30 feet in front of us and then I saw a car spinning around on the road. I said, very calmly, "stop, stop." Nathanael had to slam on the breaks but we avoided being part of the three car accident. It was really scary, I have to put my head between my knees to breathe normally again and to stop shaking. Luckily the rest of the day went off without a hitch.

We had such a great day together.

I have to say I love fall, and I can't wait for Thanksgiving!

gah, the same thing happened to me on Friday. I was heading to the hospital to see my finacee who works at the hospital and a car ran a red light in Ogden. It crashed into another car right in front of me and I had to quickly pull to the side of the road to miss all the projectile people and debris. It was scary.
