Friday Twilight

Well, Angie, Michelle and I went to Twilight on Friday and...well...um...what to say? First I will say that I had a lot of fun going out with the girls and I really think it should happen more often, much more often. Angie and I have a lot in common, reading, antiques...so we have a great time together.

We went to the Training Table first to eat and I had never been there before. I really liked the food. Cheese fries! They were the best, but I could feel myself gaining weight as I ate them. Michelle has a photo of us stuffing our faces that I will post later, when I get it from her.

So we took our photo with these random Twilight models at the movie theater. The guy on the far right looks like James from the movie, (but not so much in this photo, he looks super bored) and the other models are so skinny. We look like monsters next to them! I think it was the cheese fries.

So, if you haven't seen the movie and you don't want to hear my opinion of it, stop reading. That means you Shantel!

Well, I have to say something positive about the movie first. It was funny (although I'm not sure if the parts I laughed hardest at were supposed to be funny), Bella was great, her dad Charlie was awesome, I loved Jacob he was perfect (Team Jacob!), Emmett was beautiful and Jasper was hilarious (again, probably not on purpose) and Alice was perfect.

But...the make up was horrible. It looked like they put it on themselves in the bathroom and it looked like Halloween make up, i know they are supposed to be pale, but they were white! They looked like Albinos the first time you saw them, not Vampires. Edward was alright, he was kind of annoying, but I wasn't a huge fan of him to begin with. (Team Jacob!) And the camera work was sloppy and choppy, instead of cutting gently from one person to the next it was more like; edwardbellaedwardbelladeeredwardbellawaterfalledwardbella, I was starting to get motion sick. Oh, and the worst part was the whole theater screaming every time Edward was on screen, it got really annoying. (Team Jacob!)

But it was a lot of fun to go out and just hang out with some other girls. We should do it more often!

I must be illiterate or something because when I first read what you had written I thought you said you had gone out for Chinese Fries, and not Cheese Fries.

I was so intrigued by Chinese Fries! I spent a few seconds trying to imagine what they would be made of, and somewhat jealous of this apparent Utah creation.

Ashlee! How have you been? Your blog is so fun, your picture of the dinosaur park made me really want to go! I've lived here my whole life and never knew it was there. And I totally agree with you on the Twilight movie, I thought it was hilarious! Jasper was my favorite, I still laugh when I think of him!
