This was my mom's and her mom's before that. I have always loved it and my mom gave it to me when I moved down to Utah. You might be able to tell that it has been broken, I was really upset when it broke but we did our best to fix it.

A Few of My Favorite Things
I went around our apartment (which doesn't really feel like and partment, more like a townhouse) and took some photos of a few of my most favorite things. I love our little place, it's cozy but bright. I like that it is two floors so it feels more like a home. These are just a few close-ups of my favorite things, after the holidays I will take some photos of our decor as a whole.
Another one of my favorite things is reading. We were so happy when we found these bookselves for our spare room (because i have so many books) we put them up as soon as we got them home. The black and white photo is of the Space Needle in Seattle and was taken a long time ago when I went to Seattle with some friends (I think I was 19, so at least six years ago.)
One of my favorite displays in our house is this one in our living room. I made the sign with my mom on one of our visits to Alberta. The three photos I took when I was in Italy (the first two are Venice and the third is Rome). And that cute bird my mom bought me when they were here visiting.
My mom also bought me these dishes when I was in the 12th grade, we found them at a thrift store and I love the color and the little gold design.
My wedding bouquet is one of my most favorite things, it sits on the china cabinet in our living room and I love it, not only because it's beautiful, but because I made it myself.
This gorgeous print I got at DI here in Utah, I loved it as soon as I saw it. It's up on the wall in our kitchen. The only thing I don't love is the frame, I want to do ...something... to it but I'm not sure what. (If you have any ideas let me know.)

I love the blue and white pitcher. It's gorgeous. The fact that you pieced it together instead of throwing it away just means it's well-loved.
