Thanksgiving with the Whole Family (on one side at least)

Well, Thanksgiving has always been one of my favorite holidays and this year was just as good. Peter and Becky (Nathanael's brother and his wife) came out from Ohio for Thanksgiving and brought their three boys (Chase, Parker and Isaac). I haven't seen them since they lived here last summer.

The food is always one of the best parts of Thanksgiving, admit it. Besides spending time with family Thanksgiving is a food holiday. I made yams last year and everyone loved them so they asked me to bring them again. I have to admit I use a lot of brown sugar in them so they aren't very healthy but they are so good! People who don't even like yams loved them. Nathanael's sister asked me for the recipe and I laughed because I don't use a recipe I just guess. She asked how much brown sugar I use and I said "I just dump it in."

This is Isaac (Peter and Becky's youngest) and Makayla (Annette and Craig's adopted girl). They were so cute playing together.

The boys were playing on the trampoline all night long and would have stayed out there even longer if their mom's hadn't made them come in.

Nathanael's sister Sarah hates getting her picture taken, I don't know why though. And that's Haydn, Ruth and Nathan's little boy, he's so cute and only three months old!

This is Ruth and Nathan and I just thought it was hilarious that Ruth looks so happy and Nathan looks like he's going to kill us.
