They have these wonderful tubes you can walk through that pass through tanks of fish and sharks. It was really neat. I'm not sure what Nathanael was pretending to do...but he's standing inside one of the tunnels, you can see he's standing on a window, the tank even goes under where you are walking. It was weird standing on the window.

The Oregon Coast Aquarium
We had so much fun at the aquarium while in Newport. The aquarium is one of the most famous places to visit in Oregon. I have been there twice now, the first time was when my family went to Disneyland. Last time their special exhibit was jellyfist, which was really cool. This time it was call Oddwater, with all these strange sea animals. It was really neat, if you have the chance you should stop by.

The exhibits go outside as well, the have otters and seals and sea birds. They had an octopus but it wouldn't come out of it's cave.

This was a little octopus in one of the smaller tanks inside. Their suction things are really weird.
There were a few touch tanks where you could touch some of the sea animals, starfish feel really weird, fyi.
And sea anemone don't feel like anything at all. Really, I touched one and couldn't feel it, strange. That's Nathanael's finger in the picture. He touched one first and told me he couldn't feel it, I didn't really believe him so I had to touch one to see for myself.
Then there was a touch tank with manta rays and baby sharks. Nathanael touched a ray and here I am touching a baby shark! They feel really smooth if you run your fingers one way and if you run them the other way they feel like sandpaper.
