My Favorite New (to me) Things

Thinking about the Favorite Things Swap hosted by According to Kelly that I just signed up for got me thinking about my favortie things. I still have no idea what I'm putting in the package but I started looking around at online shops and etsy shops. I've been finding the most wonderful things, people are very creative. Here are a few of my new (to me) favorite things.

Both of these are from Print Patter Paper. They have beautiful art, posters and stationary. These two are my favorites but I also love the number wall cards. The birds cards would look beautiful framed (in my living room!)

Yellow Monday prints are another new favorite. The giclee prints are taken from the artists' original ink drawings, and I love them. Especially this one.

I want it. All of Yellow Monday's prints are gorgeous, you really should check them out. I want this one for my upstairs bathroom.

Another new thing I love is TapeSwell'sdecorative packing tape. They have a bunch of different patterns and combo packs. They also have mailing labels and the coolest envelope wraparounds.

So neat, such a cool idea. The only problem is I would want to use it all the time and I'd always be running out. These birds are my favorite pattern but they have a bunch of others. The site also has a gallery of other cool things to do with the tape, like using it to decorate a frame.

I saw Rob Ryan's work on another blog recently and fell in love with this print.

I'm starting to think that all my favorite things are going to have birds on them. But how could you not love this. The green is beautiful and the quote on the eggs "other planets cannot be as beautiful as this one" is so sweet. The best part...it's cut paper. So intricate, I love it.

Fawn and Forest is another company I have fallen in love with. They have a lot of great stuff for your baby but they also have beautiful prints and mobiles. They have so many wonderful bird prints that I had a hard time picking a favorite, but I think this is it.

And I love this solid hanging bird. These come in different colors and I would love them hanging in our bedroom.

If you like IKEA then you will love Huset Shop. They have really cool Scandinavian inspired stuff for the home but my favorite is this cup and saucer.

Can you imagine! Who doesn't have a flash of brilliance at tea time and nothing to write it on...or is that just me?

So the cup and saucer didn't have a bird on it but the next two do. Dee Beale is a graphic artist based in the UK and her prints are gorgeous. She has a blog and an etsy shop. The first print isn't on her esty but the second one is.

Her blog is awesome, I love all the stuff she finds at yard sales and her art is incredible. You really should check it out.

I saw felted animals someone once before but hadn't seen them in a while (probably because I wasn't looking for them, because once I started looking I found a lot.) This one is by far my most favorite, it's from Little Elf's Toyshop.

The best part? The bird and the next are seperate! How cute. I saw another photo of this one and it fit in an open hand. Their etsy shop has a ton of cute animals and dolls. Their mini animals are so adorable.

And lastly, for now, is the most adorable owl I have ever seen. Ever.

It was handcrafted by Barking Dog Designs. Their etsy shop is full of the most adorable animals, especially the little sock monkies. So cute.
