So Long, Farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, Adieu

So sad, my awesome parents left on Monday and I miss them already. We had a lot of fun together. We went to Thanksgiving Point, to the Tulip Festival and it was beautiful! (Photos to come.) We crafted and shopped a little, watched a movie (The Soloist, it was pretty good) and they came to my gallery opening. My wonderful husband brought me these beautiful roses.

I love the dark pink edges. So pretty. He brought me a whole bouquet and it was the sweetest thing ever.

My mom, I have to say, can't stop spoiling me. Some people think/call me a spoiled brat...I'm not, I just have a very nice mother. (Plus that comment hurt my feelings slightly, thank you very much.) Anyway, my mom brought me some cute gifts, that I loved.

Aren't these coasters so cute, my sister actually sent these down with my parents. Isn't she the sweetest!

I love this little sign my mom picked up (she gets a lot of things really inexpensive at Michaels where she works). I know exactly where I'm putting it.

I love this little bird bowl. It had Easter chocolates in it but those are long gone.

How neat are these little chrome birds! My mom was worried I wouldn't like them, I love them!

I was super excited about the recipe box, shopping list and menu planner. My old recipe box is yuck and we always plan out our meals in advance, now we can plan them out on this cute fridge note pad.
And ok, I've saved the best for last. When I pulled these out I nearly died...

...little bird salt and pepper shakers...that sit in a nest! So stinkin' cute.
So, Mom and Dad...we miss you so super much and can't wait to see you again. I'm such a momma's girl...sigh.

Your Mom is so funny! I miss her too! - Hey shoot me an email. When are you heading on vacation again? You might as well come that little bit further to see me. I might even be able to meet you in seatle or Tacoma or if is ins't a super busy weekend maybe Portland - wouldn't that be fun?!

Miss you times 1 million
